Working at the Intersection of Housing and Homelessness Systems

Our Mission

Cities and regions are facing interlocking crises of homelessness and housing affordability, often in a complex political environment.

Growing housing affordability challenges are impacting the ability of localities to proactively respond to homelessness with housing-first strategies.

We work with public-serving organizations and government agencies to tackle these challenges through data-driven, innovative solutions and strategic planning in a changing landscape that centers the housing affordability crisis in improving homelessness policy.

Our Approach

At Critical Junctures, we stand at the crucial crossroads of housing and homelessness, committed to navigating through the intertwined crises of affordability and homelessness that challenge our cities and regions.

In these times, when public attention and backlash toward homelessness are on the rise, we at Critical Junctures dedicate ourselves to breaking down the systemic barriers that obstruct the effective expansion of housing first policies and programs.

Our approach is built on a firm commitment to housing first principles and policies, aiming to transform the way communities address homelessness through collaboration, innovation, and strategic foresight.
